Coronado Community READ Event: FILM FORUM CORONADO - "Coherence"

Coronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents FILM FORUM CORONADO, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the library's Winn Room. Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story. March 15: Coherence (2014, 89 min) in keeping with the space theme of the 2023 Coronado Community READ, Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. A spooky, nerve-jangling journey through the looking glass. Eight friends are gathered for dinner while a comet passes overhead. The cosmic chaos created tears the fabric of reality as personal tensions and secrets bubble beneath the surface.
